Jermell Charlo is confident size won’t be an issue when he fights Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
The undisputed light middleweight champion has agreed to jump up two divisions to take on Canelo who holds all four major titles at super-middleweight.

They are set to clash at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 30.
As the biggest fight of his life edges closer, Charlo is sure that he will deal with the jump from competing at 154lbs to boxing the best at 168lbs.
“I’m just a naturally big motherf*****,” he told the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.
“I’m not a little guy. The world of boxing only sees me when I weigh in.

Charlo boasts a 35-1-1 record but has avenged the only defeat he ever suffered and emerged victoriously from a rematch with Brian Castano after their controversial draw.
After reportedly signing a three-fight deal with Al Haymon's PBC worth more than $100 million, Canelo was linked to a fight with Jermall Charlo.
However, the WBC middleweight champion hasn’t fought since outpointing Juan Macias Montiel in June 2021 and his lengthy spell on the sidelines has been attributed to unresolved personal issues.

Alvarez may then move on to fights with David Benavidez, Errol Spence, or Badou Jack – but a scrap with undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford could also be on the table.
‘Bud’ has expressed his willingness to jump up three divisions and 21lbs pound to secure a fight with Canelo if he is victorious against Charlo in a couple of weeks’ time.
